1 John 5:14-15 – Talks about praying and asking God to hear us.

Heavenly Father;

I bow my soul before You to pray a prayer of protection and safety for our nation’s first responders. Protect us as we act as Your hands and feet to others braving this immense cold that is covering our nation in its icy grasp.

Your word tells us that the prayer of the righteous availeth much. Lord, I am just one of many warriors who know and trust in Your mighty and Holy hands. I humbly ask that You will stretch them forth and cover us with the warm palms of Your hands.

Give us strength, and breathe Your words into our hearts as we minister and help those frozen limbs and faces to live again!

It is You and Your Son who has rescued us from the flames, may we keep that tradition in which have first established in our hearts as we walk among the wounded and those struck down by the hurts of this world.

Give Your angels charge over us and may Your healing power penetrate the broken bones and stop the bleeding of red blood trapped in sharp jagged steel edges or that of burnt out shells of a building.

You Father, enable us by Your will that is established in Your Kingdom of Heaven. Manifest Your love upon the earth for Your glory and honor and that of Your Mighty name. May our voices be Your ministering spirit. We bow before You and give You praise!

Father, Unleash Your power upon us, and infiltrate our spirits with Your endless love, So that others may see You and come to the knowledge of You because it was You who first loved us!

This prayer I pray to Your Holy name, for it is written that if we cry Abba Father unto You, You will answer us and come to our aid!

We give You praise in thankfulness for Your Son, our Rescuer Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice freely given as a ransom for us. We accept His gift and acknowledge His love daily as we proudly display His cross upon our uniforms and testify the greatest of loves given unto all of mankind. Amen, and if it is Your will, Let it be so…….
