This beautiful Sunday is winding down, taking the warm sunshine with it. Looks like we’re in for a fairly Springlike week ahead.
Pray for the family of Brandon Laney. Today has been a very heart wrenching experience. His life , though brief, overflowed with goodness and love. The world is a little quieter tonight, but heaven surely must be filled with joy.
Hilton Missionary Baptist church provided a wonderful meal to our community friends today at Shades.
We celebrated sacrament of holy communion. Bob was back for the first service since his serious heart attack after Christmas. He and Mikie served holy communion.
Belle and Stan shared special music.
Ms Jean is asking prayers since she is back in the hospital. Remember to encourage one another.
Tomorrow we will celebrate Harry’s life. It’s been a whirlwind of events these past days. Everyone have a peaceful night and good Monday.
Luke 22:19-20 – A family attended worship for the first time Sunday. They had never heard of the sacrament of holy communion. The lady asked what it means. They did enjoy their experience and we expect to see them again. Many friends stand outside the church , looking in, while those on the inside decide whom is worthy to enter. Christ himself makes the invitation. Thank you Jesus for including me. Amen
