Psalm 3

Faith can be difficult even for the strongest believer at times. It was one of the lowest points in David’s life. It looked as though it was all over for him. Even his closest friends were saying that he was beyond God’s help.
David could see and hear that things were bad, but he also knew that God who made him king could keep him king. Instead of focusing on what was bad, and listening to the gloom and doom, David chose to put his trust in the Lord.
“You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My Glory, the One who lifts up my head. I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and He answered me…I will not be afraid”
Faith is a gift from God. To live by faith is a choice we make. We are not “I hope so” people; Let the believers say, “I KNOW.”
Job rose up out of the ashes to proclaim, “I KNOW that my redeemer lives.” Paul said, “I am persuaded that God is able to keep what I have committed to Him…” John said, “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.” Jesus said, “I will rise again;” What do we say?
Some people look at the giant size troubles they have. Others see the immeasurable hand of God.
The Hymn says, “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I’ve committed unto Him against that day.”
Child of God, Grieve if you must but don’t despair. Remember that “Thy will be done” did not end with death on a cross, but the resurrection of Christ. The nights weeping will give way to the Joy of the morning. Faith will not leave us until our feet stand on that golden street and we see Jesus face to face. Hold on friend of God, hold on! It’s real, I KNOW IT’S REAL.
