THOUGHT FOR TODAY, January 24, 2021
“Nate’s Sunday Message and Bible Study”
Trusting Christ First
“Behold, I make all things new,” Jesus declared in Revelation 21:15. Yes, He does, making lives, families, homes and hope, always new! Recommit your devotion to Jesus Christ our Saviour, once again, perhaps for the first time. His Word refreshes and rejuvenates us all, as we trust His promises in God’s Holy Word, the Bible!
Continuing to Worship Together
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another, and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
Never Despairing; Always Hopeful
“I must do the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4 & 5
Strengthen Your Faith
“He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation in a rock: and when the flood arose, the steam beat vehemently upon that house, and could no shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.” Luke 6:48
Live Confidently
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the
works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. And whatever ye shall ask in my name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
John 14:12
Keep Obedient To Christ
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21
Never Despair
“And to him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:21
Pray, Pray, Pray
“Therefore, I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Trust Christ Always
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Jude 21
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world with end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20 & 21
