Christ in the Alphabet – “H”

Good morning. This is Judy. Today we continue our Christ in the Alphabet devotions with the letter “H.”

A little over 3 weeks ago we celebrated the birthday of the church, Pentecost Sunday. Col. 1:18 says that Christ is the “Head” of the church and we are the body.”

Ps. 103:3 says Christ is the “Healer” of all diseases. If we want God to care for us, we need to submit to his directions for living. Christ is our “Heart” surgeon. We need to ask Christ to create in us a clean heart and a right spirit. Let Christ perform a heart transplant.

He will take a heart that is hard, deaf, and immovable and replace it with one that is tender, receptive, and responsible. Have you received your new heart? Christ is our very present “Help.”

We can trust Him to meet all our needs. Christ is our “Hiding” place. He is our “Hope.” Only He can save us. Christ alone is worthy of all our praise and “Honor” for He is “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.

“Let Us Pray”

Dear Lord, You are our great physician, the Healer of broken Hearts. Create in us a clean heart and a right spirit. You are our very present help in times of trouble. In this troublesome world in which we live, help us to be mindful of your presence. You are our only Hope of survival. We love you, Lord God Almighty. You are “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY” – now and forever. In your name we pray. AMEN
