Charity
“1 Corinthians 13”
As the sun rises this morning, my thoughts are with the word “Charity”. Even though it is going to be hot today, or at least humid . . . God loves and cares for us so much, that He provides the sun for us, so we are not surrounded by a dark world. Because of the sun and the moon, the world is habitable.
We haven’t done anything to deserve His Love and Charity but He provides many events to Save us.
If we are to be like Jesus, we too, must develop “Charity”. It doesn’t come naturally . . . Sometimes the troubles we have, teach us Charity . . . Because it is only when we know the pain, that we can emphasize with the pain of others.
I see on Social Media photos of people at Walmart, a few with apparel that can only suit their tastes. Someone else posts, “You can’t fix stupid.”
From what I can see, there isn’t one of us who doesn’t do something “not using the word stupid” but as Nate calls it . . . “Untowards” everyday. How many times have you said to yourself, “I am so glad that no one else saw that!!!”
It’s the human condition. Because none of us are perfect . . . when we see the Elephant in the room, do what Jesus does . . . Be Charitable and pray with God’s Love for the person who is “Untowards”.
It could be you; it could be me . . . We all need love, forgiveness and charity. We can be someone’s Sunshine.
