Luke 12:27
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not [a]arrayed like one of these.
“The Blooms of Life”
It’s an overcast day while the Rose of Sharon blooms happily.
How we meet our days are sometimes a matter of a decision to bloom, to smile, witness, laugh or even, just take a nap . . .
Traveling from San Francisco to Virginia on Eastern Airlines more than a few years ago . . . The plane needed maintenance; it was shaking violently as it flew through turbulent skies. It was pretty unsettling.
Was very tired after flying from Australia to connect flights. My decision was to not fear, but to go to sleep. I was sure this plane was going to crash and I wanted to be asleep when it happened.
Like many gloomy thoughts, our fears can be sometimes unfounded.
Here I am years later still living, breathing and privileged to enjoy the blooms of life.
