Worship is at Shades of Grace Church – This is a United Methodist Congregation for ALL people. Dress is always casual . We will continue learning lessons from Luke. God will use our tests and messes to serve His Kingdom to witness to others.
You may be surprised to find out how Biblical marriage has evolved over many centuries. You may be grateful we’re not living in the (good old days.) when a widow was expected to marry her dead husband’s brother.(and other interesting bits of Bible trivia.)
Justice for Widows and Strangers
1 Timothy 5:3 “Honour widows that are widows indeed.”
Luke 18:5 “Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.”
Serving the Last, Lost, Least and Lonely:
Hebrews 13:2 “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Luke 10:27 “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.”
Luke 18:8 “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

Saturday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. – Shades of Grace: A United Methodist Congregation will host the Nigerian Community of the TriCities as we celebrate two years of Shades International. Ethnic Nigerian Food will be made available, along with music.
Sunday, November 6, 2022, 2:00:00 a.m. clocks are turned backward 1 hour.
Wednesday, November 9, 2022 – Shades of Grace will host Flu Shot Vaccine Clinic, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
