Praise the Lord, we are also visited by joys . . . And in a troubled World, we can have peace.
Some of my joys are seeing Nate’s sweet face each morning, enjoying his hugs, laughter and sweet smiles . . . watching the sunrise . . . a little snack breakfast and spending time with the Lord. As I go through my day, there are far more “joy” visits because Nate and I invite them, invent them and recognize them.
Peace and Joy can either catch us unaware or hide when we’re are overcome by pain, unwanted situations or circumstances. Then it’s up to us to “find it; to seek it”. Deuteronomy 4:29 “But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
The Lord Jesus can bring great Joys and Peace to our life when we seek Him.
I so enjoy posting Rev. Ray Amos’ devotions each morning as he comes up with a new story and . . . “I want what he’s drinking” . . . as I thirst for God’s New and Renewed Living Waters . . . By visiting, God’s Word, by Inviting the Lord Jesus to live in my life, I might enjoy a ticket designed for joy and created for a peace and a life with a new experiences with the Lord. The Joy of the Lord is My Strength!
