WE’RE NOT ALONE
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
John 8:12

Like this little pine, we all can feel like the lone ranger.
As we hear the stories of others, another reality appears . . . That there is nothing new under the sun . . . And what we are going through, someone else is experiencing or has experienced, too.
Right now as we are encompassed by cold weather and higher electric bills, we know firsthand as we also hear about this through the North American media . . .
As we look a little deeper, there are currently protests throughout the European Union involving their electric bills and costs of living . . . Some demanding that the government step in and offer relief.
Like this little pine, we are not alone . . . We are all connected. That doesn’t change the world’s problems, help us with our bills, or solve all our problems but it does show that neither our problems nor our hearts beat alone.
God sees us individually and collectively and cares about all our concerns.
Normal heart beats are 60 – 100 beats a minute which on the high side, averages 50,688,000 per year.
No matter where we are located, what church we attend or who we are, God knows our hearts, our beats, and our concerns.
As Job asks; Job also knows:
“In Whose Hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?” Job 12:10
