I Corinthians 12:12

I AM FOR THE CHURCH – because it IS the body of Christ, and serves as the living organism through which He lives. “And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His Body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all,” Ephesians 1:22, 23. “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, many, are one body: so also is Christ,”
I Corinthians 12:12.

I AM FOR THE CHURCH – because Christ Jesus Himself meets with and ministers to every born-again, Bible-believing fellowship that gathers in His Name. “For where two or three are gathered in my Name, there am I in the midst of them,” Matthew 18:20.)

I AM FOR THE CHURCH – because from the birth of the Church, Pentecost, and until now, every person who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour actively identified with a local church fellowship, worshipping and receiving instruction in their Christian faith. This was the focus on All mission activity….THE LOCAL CHURCH! “Then they that gladly received (Peter’s) word were baptized; added unto them about three thousand souls, and they continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers,” Acts 2:41,42.

I AM FOR THE CHURCH – because Jesus Christ is building, perfecting, and preserving it, the ONLY holy institution that will survive time, lasing forever, to show the eternal wisdom of Almighty God. “And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” Matthew 16:18.
