THE DOWNWARD PATH OF SIN

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night” (Psa 1:1-2, ESV). Notice the digression into depravity: We are passing by and pause to hear the counsel of the ungodly. Second, we stand with the crowd. Third, we sit down with those who mock all things holy and good. We need to watch where we walk, where we stand, and where we sit.
