1 Corinthians 1:18

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

“Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

Each day is a new day with the Lord. We can never go back to where we once were. If we keep trying to go back, we will never get to the prize before us. Wherever you are right now, in this moment of time, is the starting line for the rest of your life.

Paul wrote that the message of the cross is the power of God to us who are being saved. I have full confidence that the day I met Christ I was saved completely and perfectly. Paul wrote to Christians saying, “us who are being saved.” There is not a day that passes without the Lord saving me from something, usually a lot of somethings.

Stale water is dangerous to drink, and stale Christianity is dangerous to our souls. It takes a lot of daily repentance to keep the living water within us flowing fresh and clean. We must keep sin and wrong attitudes from blocking the crystal streams that flow from Heaven to refresh our soul. Isn’t that why Jesus taught us to pray each day that our Father would forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us?

“Lord, please forgive the many times that we have allowed our soul and life to become polluted. It always has a way of showing up in our day. Restore our soul in pastures green and bring the joy of your salvation where life’s water can dance and play again as streams in the desert. Precious Savior, who desires that our day be blessed; we pray to yield ourselves to you with new faith for today, and that we are resolved to spend this day in the presence of your Love. Amen”

“Christ Is Alive, And Goes Before Us
To Show And Share What Love Can Do.
This Is A Day Of New Beginnings;
Our God Is Making All Things New.”

Grace and Peace, Rev Ray
