1 Kings 8:59

“And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God, day and night, that he may uphold the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel according to each day’s need…”

Are we praying out of the depths of our heart? If we truly are crying out to the Lord, we can be sure that our words will reach Him and stay with Him. He will not forget the words that we pray. This we must know and believe, no matter if it may seem otherwise.

God upholds the cause of His servant. A servant prays for what enables him/her to be the best for the Master. There may be a need for peace and the healing of a broken heart, there may be a lack of something necessary to life; or a trouble that stands in the way of undivided service to the One we love; Tell it to Jesus.

Pray also for the cause of other believers. We need the strength of each other’s faith. The day presents us with its own challenges and needs. When two or three walk together and agree on the things of Christ, the Lord is also with them in hearing distance.

Prayer punches a hole in the darkness, turns the weedy heart into a bed of flowers, and breathes new life to the dead and dying souls.

On the altar before God is a golden censor filled with the prayers of the saints, (see Revelation 8:3). Not one prayer is unheard, forgotten, or to be unanswered. Our prayers are there also children of God: KEEP THE FAITH, and never give up on the Lord, he has never given up on us.

“God answers prayer, I dare believe it;
God answers prayer, O praise His name:
God answers prayer, and here this moment,
His love sets all my heart aflame.”

Grace and Peace, Rev Ray
