First Interview – Interviewed by God – Interview Ourselves
This embroidery is on my 40 year old shirt as I lovingly wear it today. This shirt has it’s own story.
Years ago, when visiting the Garment District in New York City, near Macy’s Department Store, it was a younger girl’s fantasy land to see what was garments lay hidden in the design fields before going to market. Every wholesale clothing merchant had something different.
Walking into this one store, the shirts with the embroidery caught my eye. The owner told me, “I just order ordinary plain shirts and there’s an embroidery designer who stops by, gets the shirts and returns them with appliques embroidered on them.” Was so taken by the design, and the shirts’ stories, each with a different imaginative design that I bought several.
The label inside is: “First Interview” . . . Which the shirts had several interviews before my purchase.
If God Interviewed you forty years ago . . . What would you say to Him? What would you say “to yourself”? What would you say “about yourself”?
If God Interviewed you today . . . What would you say to Him? What would you say to yourself? What would you say “about yourself”?
Please don’t answer here . . . But something to think about . . . Would venture a guess that one’s story would generally show how much their soul has changed and evolved.
James 1:2-3
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
