Psalm 31:5
In His Hands! – In His Time . . . Take Time For God’s Word
“Pastor Nate – In His Hands!”
A precious Facebook friend recently shared this poem with Julie and me. It struck me profoundly, particularly in light of the current weather conditions, and how we are responsibly responding by staying off roads.
Being apart hurts! For the redeemed in Christ, we are born again to be in fellowship, and in lively and close communication. When it’s best to remain distant, our souls suffer. A fitting verse in II Peter 3:11, encourages the faithful to “be in all holy conversation and godliness.” It’s good for the soul! It’s also good to join ourselves together and worship the Lord.
We are in the Lord’s Hands and on His mind. He has chosen us in Jesus Christ. As the Apostle John experienced in Revelation 1:17, “And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.”
It truly depends upon whose hands we are in. We are certainly in God’s hands and on God’s mind.. As we face an uncertain tomorrow, depend upon the Hand of God to lead us safely toward fellowship with Him in eternal life.
Psalm 31:5
“Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.”
In His Hands
A basketball in my hands is worth about $19
A basketball in Michael Jordan’s hands is worth about $33 million.
It depends whose hands it’s in
A baseball in my hands is worth about $6
A baseball in Mark McGuire’s hands is worth $19 million
It depends whose hands it’s in
A tennis racket is useless in my hands
A tennis racket in Pete Sampras’ hands is a Wimbledon Championship.
It depends whose hands it’s in
A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal
A rod in Moses’ hands will part the mighty sea
It depends whose hands it’s in
A sling shot in my hands is a kid’s toy
A sling shot in David’s hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it’s in
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in Jesus’ hands will feed thousands
It depends whose hands it’s in
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ’s hands will produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it’s in.
As you see now it depends whose hands it’s in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God’s hands because……. it depends whose hands it’s in.
