John 14:12-14

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle?

I love my quite time and gathering together my thoughts and putting them into writing. It’s truly amazing the things that come into my mind as I type. I know that it is not me or my thoughts. These words assembled have not been gathered in vain.

~Isaiah 55:11~
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

It has taken me years to mature in my faith in the Lord. I once was a doubter and just honestly didn’t believe that the Lord could use someone like me. My secret is prayer, lots of prayer. I’ve seen the manifestation of my prayers brought to fruition, and not by my hands. God is very real.

I’ve often thought about the Apostles of Jesus and what would make men leave it all and drop everything to follow one man?

Every one of the Apostles except one died very violent deaths. John the Revelator was exiled to the isle of Patmos, while there he experienced supernatural visions in which he saw the coming day of the Lord in all of its vivid fearfulness.

~Acts 2:17-18~
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

~Joel 2:30-32~
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved (Rescued).

Friends, the day is quickly approaching and the time is near for you to make a decision, like all human beings past and present have had do. Who do you trust and have placed that trust in? That great decision is solely yours to make. No one will be able to point to others, or place blame on them for making the decision on that great and terrible day of the Lord. But, there is still time and Jesus is still the Hope!

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

The time that we now find ourselves living in are a times of knowledge. Never in our history of mankind has one been able to gain knowledge just by typing a few words into a computer and that knowledge springing forth to them instantaneously.

~Proverbs 1:5-7~
A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, to understand a proverb and an enigma, the words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Thousands of satellites circle the earth daily gathering and beaming knowledge and communication to us. The Bible has predicted through the ages that this would happen.

~ Daniel 12:4~
But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”

I urge you to consider the Lord. There are many these days who are doubters and scoff at the notion that Jesus has risen from the dead, much less alive with His Father. We are now seeing on a daily basis the fruits of our increased knowledge. We are bombarded with knowledge every second of everyday.

Friend, the earth is about to be shaken, and shaken like never before and it will be a very fearful thing to face without the Lord. Jesus is the answer and the Hope for us all. Blessed be the name of the Lord; who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle…
