Deserving God’s Love
“Ephesians 2:4-9”
Our son-in-law took this photo off his back patio.

Are we as wise as an owl? It depends . . . However, we can count on the Lord because he is “All Knowing” and we as humans cannot be. We are not perfect; yet He loves us.
Many of us have difficulty recognizing His knowledge and receiving the enormous Blessings and Love which God has for us because we feel we don’t deserve it . . .
It’s not that any of us deserve anything from God but it’s that He Loves us so much that if we were the only one living, He would have died for you/me.
So we don’t have to work at deserving Him. We just have to trust that He, because He created us, has plans for us.
Because of His Promises, and because we can have Faith in our Father, our Creator . . . No matter what we feel is happening in our world or the world around us, or what we are going through, He is in control, and will bring us through, generally, not the conventional or convenient door, but the door that will reveal His Ways and His Light. It’s not until we have traveled through the doors that He opens for us, that we can mature in His Spirit and know His reasons why, and feel His Mercy and Grace.
I have even gotten mad at God for letting me through the door of my choice or the door of someone else’s choice but I have learned to trust Him and ignore the doors of other people’s choice for me, because that gives them power over me instead of God’s Power.
He grows us with purpose to pass on His Love, to live with purpose, to explore His Purpose, not anyone else’s purpose for us or for themselves . . . But our infinity and forever relationship between us and God. No one else could create us, just the Lord.
He wants to hear from us . . . We have to pray that His Will be done, because we can’t trust our own selves, our own will and certainly not the will of others.
Ephesians 2:4-9 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God”.
