God’s Thoughts Higher Than Ours
Yesterday, I went to my acupressurist. Asking him what can be done about my feet heating and burning in this humidity and heat. His immediate answer was “Stay out of the heat”.Then he said, “Heat escapes through the head so the brain and head is always trying to protect itself so when the temperatures are too much to escape the head . . . Then it sends the excess to the feet.
He told me to chew on small amounts and small pieces of ice chips, and not to swallow until completely melted and body temperature.
Okay, so now the head needs to be treated to alleviate the discomfort in the feet! Oh, I thought . . . “That’s just how God would work this out . . . His thoughts and resolutions are almost never like ours.”
Knowing yesterday would be full of errands, as well, the only method I could think of to stay reasonably comfortable was to apply a mint cooling gel to my feet . . . Never, thinking about “my head” except to remember the things needed to be done!
This morning’s photos show the sun being blocked by the clouds. Only God can bring the sun out . . . from behind the clouds of some of our human thoughts, reactions and methods.
