DEVOTION FOR TODAY, April 26, 2020
“Power and Energy from God”
Most of us think of prayers for strength but do we think of receiving the power of God. Is it going to happen automatically?. . . When we pray for strength, we have to take the time to consciously receive His Power. Do you ever raise your arms to the Heavens and be in the moment of giving Him your full attention, opening up all of your very being to receive His Power and Strength.
Maybe the plants know as they reach toward the sky to grow. The energy they give to stay reaching for the heavens, a Higher Power than their own . . . “Is what it takes for their very survival”.
What kind or how much energy are we giving up toward the Lord? . . . That we might recognize and receive His power that “really” is like the gasoline that powers our human body and soul.
How much acknowledgement and praise are we giving Him for His Blessings? Where is our energy going today? Where is His Power going? He has Power and Strength in Abundance for “all” and “each” one of us. Our cup can be overflowing! All we have to do is reach up to Him. Give Him your time, your energy. He has a table prepared for us . . . His Power is overflowing. Are we going to take time and give Him our energy each day to receive it?
