Julie Ware – Praying for Your Flock and Giving God Glory

We pray over our Facebook friends everyday. If you are our family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, church congregations, community and past acquaintances . . . You are included in our prayers.

A flock is not limited to a congregation. The other night I think I heard God’s humor, when a still small voice said, “Do you really know all these people?”

And you should have heard Him when I was praying for a particular person . . . And I felt the need to take the time to explain my prayers. He said, “I know, My explanation is one of all knowing and all knowledge . . . You don’t have to explain.”

Giving Him the Glory for everything seems to make Him happy and joyful . . .And who doesn’t want to make our Father happy.

1 Chronicles 16:29
“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.”
