Jude 1:17-22
“What do we want OUR world to be?”
Sometimes pulling into the driveway, leaving the hustle and bustle of town, we breathe a sigh of relief. We are back to a more peaceful world.
When we turn on the news . . . There’s a world of blamers, love without compassion, compassion without love, faith without trust or hope. Charity for one another has been distracted to an unknown path with worries of “where are we”.
What happened . . . When did we become like children, particularly in the political arena, where all blame each other . . . so no one has to take responsibility for anything, nor does anything have to be done . . . Because it doesn’t have to be . . . Just blame each other for what has or hasn’t been done or . . . For Everything Possible and Impossible . . .
When did the popularity of the four letter word, “not LOVE”, sex and violence become the tune and tone that gets the most attention . . . and has to be in movies to get the ratings.
When did another four letter word permeate our environment . . . FEAR.
What do we want our world to be? When do we ask what we can do for God and not what God can do for us? How do we turn our paths around to peace, compassion, love, faith, hope and charity. Again, “what do we want OUR world to be?”

19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
22 Be merciful to those who in doubt
