Julie Ware’s Devotion – Auto Correct

First of all, if you write, publish and design word or verse layout, then proofing is important. Detail is forefront. Even at that, errors can and do happen to everyone. The proofer needs a proofer. One of my pet peeves is auto correct where you look back and “There’s a word on your phone or device that was changed to something you did not type nor intend to say or type.”

This speaks of our human-ness, as well . . . Because people who don’t really know you . . . And how many people “really” know you . . . But yet, they are prone to speak of you “in auto correct” as if they know you better than you know yourself. Then in their eyes, words, estimation, you are made into a character that you are not.
Like the auto correct on our phones/devices which “pre-judges” what we are about to say! . . . Like it knows us better than we know ourselves.

God’s never proofs us, auto-corrects us, nor does He put words in our mouths . . . Nor does He post titles or judgements on us . . . But loves us into His direction, allowing us to make mistakes while healing us from the wounds and bruises . . . There is nothing automatic nor transparent about what God does for each of us . . . But His walk with us is one on one, individual and deliberate.

John 3:17 – King James Bible

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
