Obedience and Miracles
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
Mark 10:27
In Webster’s Dictionary it describes Miracles as an extraordinary event, manifesting divine intervention in human affairs or as the healing miracles, described in the Gospels or an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment.
Most of us think of miracles as happening in a monumental moment of time . . . This certainly happens. Most of us have heard of miracles and/or witnessed miracles.
In my experiences and mounting years of life, I find that most miracles come from getting acquainted with the Lord, Listening to His Guidance and then giving back to Him through our obedience.
We think mostly of miracles coming out of what He wants us to do but since He cares about the things we care about, miracles also come out of our own hopes, prayers, faith, and obedience of God’s Guidance.
We see this in the Old Testament, the New Testament, or in others in our own lives who are and were obedient. Can you name some of these miracles which happened because we or others, who had a heart for the Lord, were obedient?
Can you think of what God has done in your life because you had an obedient, hopeful, prayerful and powerful Faith in His Will for you, and in the Promises of His Word?
How can we not be completely amazed and overwhelmed by His Love and Faithfulness to us?
