TRUSTING THE LORD
“Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
“Mark 8:34”
Everyone who Trusts the Lord has an obligation to be active “in the service.”
Every born-again believer has the privilege and responsibility to be the follower of the Lord Jesus, to become actively involved in the service of Christ.
Expression of complete reliance upon God is what we, as well as, Paul was called to do and He wrote:
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you, And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all men have faith”
2 Thessalonians 3:1,2.
The Apostle Paul expected us to offer continual and repeated supplications. He was convinced our prayers would guarantee that God’s activity would accompany our witnessing/ministry . . . and that no transforming power would be worked in the lives of the hearers without it . . . And so that the Word of God be Glorified “that the word of the Lord may run and triumphant…” 2 Thessalonians 3:1
