Isaiah 65:17-18
How Beautiful Heaven Shall Be!
Revelation 21:1-7
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
“Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.” Matthew 13:52
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to mind. But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.” Isaiah 65:17-18
It bears noting that the New Jerusalem both the Prophet Isaiah and the Lord Jesus Christ refer to already exists in heaven. “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:26, and one day will come to earth as the City of God for which Abraham and all of God’s faithful waited, and now wait! God Himself is both architect and builder. “For our conversation is in heaven: from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20
What a wonder-FULL place heaven will be! Remember Revelation 21:4? “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” All the effects of sin, and all pain, sorrow, unhappiness and death will be destroyed by God Himself!
Revelation 7:16 & 17
Almighty God Himself in Jesus Christ declares who will inherit the blessings of the new heaven and the new earth—those who faithfully persevere as Christ’s overcomers. “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Mark 13:13 “And he that hath an ear, let him hear with the Spirit saith unto the churches: To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”
The authoress of “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus,” Helen Howarth Lemmel, had a small plastic keyboard upon her bed, and with it she would compose one of the 500 hymns she wrote. “One day God is going to bless me with a great heavenly keyboard…I can hardly wait!”
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
