COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Oatmeal Blocks
All Menus. Blocks can be broken down and mixed with a little hot milk and eaten as a cereal for breakfast or eaten when required during the day as a biscuit.

Bacon Grill
Can be sliced like bacon and fried in the fat found inside the can. It can also be used as a sandwich filling or eaten cold.

Baconburger
Cut into two and fry.

Sausage and Beans
Pierce top of can with opener in two places, bring half mess tin of water to boil, place can in the water and boil for ten minutes.

Soup Powder
Add the powder to pint cold water and stir. Bring to boil and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

To Heat Cans
They should be pierced twice on the lid and placed in water so that the can is half submerged. Boil for 15 minutes.

Pre-Cooked Rice
Bring half mess tin of water to the boil, add rice and a little salt, simmer for 5-6 minutes, drain off any surplus water.

Apple Flakes
Pour boiling water over apple flakes in sachet and leave for a few minutes to absorb the water. The flakes are then ready to eat.
