We had an inspiring worship service this morning at Shades of Grace. There was a large crowd and at least a couple first time guests. Music was the best and I can’t wait for you to enjoy this service on social media Sunday at 4 pm. It was a dreary rain filled morning , but such a good time and place to wind up a weary year of 2022.
Continue to pray for Carolyn who received very serious injuries in a Friday morning car crash. Pray for Martha’s brother Neal who is hospitalized with COVID. Pray for Landon’s family in the very sudden and unexpected death of his uncle Jody on Friday.
Remember! If your pipes are busted and you need a shower, Shades has facilities for men and women. Call the church for an appointment. 423-765-2440.
There are many lonely folk who have no one to care. May the Lord bless each one! May the Christ assure us of the blessed HOPE, fill our minds with PEACE, saturate our souls with JOY, and cause us to LOVE one another as He has loved us.
Thank you faithful friends AND partners of Shades of Grace UMC for giving funds, brown bag lunches, sandwiches, snacks and accessories for these lunches given to the homeless daily. May the gift and giver be abundantly blessed.
May eternal flames of the CHRIST candle continue to light our path as we walk each other home. My prayer is that not one of God’s little ones will ever be made to stumble because of my sincere efforts to fully follow the LORD. Thy will be done, LORD!
