The Shades of Grace International ministry has harvested our first of its kind Rice Crop for the locals. The rice was grown on a parcel of leased ground that was barren and unused. Notice the bags have the Shades International logo created by our own Jimmy Rogers. Lives are being truly changed around the world through a little storefront church in Tennessee. To God be all praise!
Harley Davidson (yes, that’s really his name ) stopped by this week to say hello. He grew up at Holston Home and ended up in the streets of Kingsport for about 2 years He told me today that Shades became his safe spot. He went through lots of problems and finally was married 2 years ago. He is now employed with a career and home of his own. He stopped to see everyone and tell us thank you God bless you Harley.
During the past two months of October & November. Shades of Grace : A United Methodist Congregation has provided
2,996 brown bag meals
Over 5,000 bottles water
396 boxes of emergency groceries
Provided 161 men’s showers.

Excited to announce Recovery at Shades – Recovery meeting for ALL and ANY will begin on Monday , January 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at 313 E Sullivan St. Meetings will convene each Monday. Led by our Shades of Grace folk.
Christmas is on Sunday this year.
