“Julie Ware – Navigating the Fog”
From June 3rd, 2024

Walking Through Fogs

I venture to say that there are possible fogs in our lives today . . . Fogs of understanding, and fogs of misunderstanding.

We have to think of ways to navigate, keeping our hands on the throttle and our eyes upon the rail . . .

• Start the morning by getting your soul circulating.

• Acknowledge Jesus this morning.

• Think of all the things you are grateful for; then thank Him and Praise Him.

• Ask Him for His Blessings, and to Bless everyone you think of.

• Ask Him to Bless your food today for the use and nourishment of your bodies.

• Invite Him to walk or ride beside you today. It will be the best invitation that you have ever given. He “will” bless you.

• Move . . . Get your body and blood circulating.

• Nourishment

• Smile and look at the people you see with joy, love and attention, like they are as new as breath of fresh air.

Think of what other things which/who need, and would benefit from your attention.

It’s easy to get distracted, overwhelmed and saturated. Keep in mind that God is with you/us and He is trying to build us up mightily for His witnesses and Glory.

There will be many things/clouds today that will via for attention. The local and world news is a big one.

Several people I know are glued to the TV for the news as they get immeasurably upset and angry over everything that’s going on . . . Reporting of news is abbreviated, and like taking a single tiny part of a Yarrow Flower and saying this is what it looks like.

If one is really and seriously letting Christ walk with them . . . They will be not distracted, dissatisfied, disappointed or dismayed because their goals and priorities are strengthened and straightened by listening to the Joy of the Guidance of His Word . . . And not the Anger of World. We can let go, and know that God is truly, the One in control.

We can smile, the Smile of God’s Deliverance and Joy. We are a Child of the King, and can live daily in His Presence, His Kingdom.

2. John 15:19 “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world …”

Life’s Railway to Heaven

Life is like a mountain railroad
With an engineer that’s brave
We must make the run successful
From the cradle to the grave

Watch the curves, the fills, and tunnels
Never falter, never fail
Keep your hand upon the throttle
And your eyes upon the rail

Blessed Savior, Thou will guide us
Till we reach that blissful shore
Where the angels wait to join us
In that great forevermore
