Rev. Ray and Pat Amos
Remember to pray for the ones who pray for you.
“When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.” Exodus 17:12
Remember to pray for the ones who pray for you. Do we appreciate the people who call out our name to the Lord? There are many truly exhausted saints today who need our prayer. Like the valley of dry bones, too many prayer warriors have fallen and are left alone. Do we dare to encourage them and pray that their strength will return?
“I need the prayers of those I love,
While traveling over life’s rugged world
That I may true and faithful be,
And live for Jesus every day.”
Prayer warriors need prayer too. If someone is pleading with God on our behalf, and needs prayer to keep their tank of energy full, would that person be running on fumes if he/she is depending on me?
We all need a Moses lifting strong arms to God during life’s battles. And these giants need a few folks like Aaron and Hur to hold up the tired arms that are reaching to touch the throne of God.
Are we willing to promise someone the words of this song?
At the close of the day, when I kneel to pray,
I will remember you.
You need help every day, this is why I pray
And I will remember you.
When I pray, I will pray for you,
For you need His love and His care.
When I pray, I will pray for you,
I will whisper your name in my prayer.
Grace and Peace, Rev Ray
