Ministering to the Last, Least, Lost and Lonely

Friday is ending, and a beautiful day in East Tennessee will soon become yesterday. So many blessings; so much sadness and tragedy. We had a good crowd for Friday Night Live concert with Landon Bellamy. He is loved by so many who enjoy his music.

At end of evening event, a lady for whom we prayed asked for an ambulance to be called. She is experiencing blood clots and chest pain. Thankfully, Dr Smiddy was in the house. She told him she has been released from hospital a few days, with prescription for anticoagulant, but could not afford to pay for it. She is on a limited income, and a senior citizen.

A young man whom we have not seen before came into our meeting tonight. He was totally jacked up ( probably meth ) and was sweating profusely and seizing. We did feed him and said he hadn’t eaten in 3 days. After praying with him, Dr Smiddy advises we have no option but to call a second ambulance for him. Two KPD officers also came. They also transported her m.? An officer asked me if I want him banned from returning to our building. Absolutely not! He needs our help, encouragement and healing prayers. I ask you to remember this ministry when you pray.

Our Father with Lyrics (Don Moen) – ANFGM 16th Anniversary Collection”

Hear our prayer
We are Your children and
We’ve gathered here today
We’ve gathered here to pray

Hear our cry, Lord we need Your mercy
And we need Your grace today
Hear us as we pray

Chorus:
Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name’
Our Father hear us from heaven
Forgive our sins we pray

Hear our song
As it rises to heaven
May Your glory fills the air
As the waters cover the sea

See our heart
And remove anything
That is standing in the way
Of coming to You today

Though we are few
we’re surrounded by many
Who have crossed that river before
And this the song we’ll be singing for ever

Holy is the LORD!
